So it would appear that I am, in fact, NOT dead. It hit me (along with a fair amount of self-centeredness, apparently) that my absence, along with the last Facebook status of “celebrating” might have led some to worry. BUT WORRY NOT! I am alive and well, better than I have been in a while, I think. So that’s that.

Now for the reason for the absence: There was only a light thunderstorm last Friday, but one lightning bolt in particular struck a transformer next to the house (parts of said transformer were strewn all over the yard, some all the way to the end of the driveway) and did some substantial damage to the phones and modem. Unlike last time, the computer was fine, thankfully. Maybe Thor doesn’t like burritos any more.

On the work front, I… I don’t know how to say this – it can’t be right… I like my job. :shock:

I’ve had over a week to think of stuff to write in this thing, and now that I’m internetting again, I can’t remember any of it. Awesome.

On another note, I am fucking pretty.
