It’s not a real sandwich unless it has at least two types of meat!

EDIT: What the hell, it’s Friday?!?! Where did Thursday go?!?! Not that I’m complaining, really, but I usually don’t lose track of time. OH GOD I’M GROWING OLD AND SENILE, WHERE ARE MY DEPENDS?

EDIT 2: I ran into (and embraced/humped/violated) the gook while oot and aboot. Plans are to have a gathering at his place for July 4th. Other plans include a large group of us going to see and ridicule the new Transformers movie. YET OTHER plans involve alcohol, GHB, and comely young lasses of virtue true, but I’m not really expecting them to come through.

Tomorrow is my dad’s (64th) birthday. The PLAN is to go to the recreation center and walk a bit with him tomorrow morning (we usually go at separate times because I’m still very unconscious at 7:00 when he gets up), then work on some stuff around the house (mostly inside, since it’s hotter than a

Holy shit… I got distracted while typing the entry and found out that Chris Benoit is dead. This may be the worst wrestling news since Eddy Guerrero’s death. Damn. I don’t have anything meaningful to say, about this or in general, so I’ll cut this short.

EDIT: Alright, it would appear that I decided to fast forward to July and give my dad an early birthday, despite several calendars telling me otherwise. I’m sure he’ll appreciate staying as young as possible for as long as possible.

And the Benoit story just keeps getting weirder. :?

Being sleepy sure would be nice. But after downing a Jet-Alert, a grande java chip frappuccino, and 3 or 4 cups of coffee (not at the same time, at least…), I don’t think that’s an option right now. :D

Tonight was an eventful night, including a stop by the freshly-built Starbuck’s (Dalton finally has one!), some general hanging out and tomfoolery (click to behold contradictory Judaism!) in Cleveland, Tennessee, a fine meal at IHOP (though sadly my favourite waitress was not there – also, they give you a FUCKLOAD of creamer for your coffee, apparently), a visit to FOUR Wal-Marts in search of a Starscream action figure for Matthew, a birthday gift for my dad, and a bit of aural entertainment for myself (good god, there’s no evidence of that CD’s existence online).

I need to get the hell out of Dalton (I’ve really got nothing tying me down here, anyway), and Cleveland just may be the place to go, for now, at least. Maybe more on this later. I’m brainstorming.

“Box” squats:
185 lbs. 4 x 2
205 lbs. 2 x 2
225 lbs. 1 x 2
275 lbs. 1 x 2

Reverse hyperextensions:
3 x 10

Barbell shrugs:
225 lbs. 1 x 10
315 lbs. 2 x 8

Pullthroughs:
150 lbs. 1 x 10
170 lbs. 1 x 10
190 lbs. 1 x 10

Comments: Why the hell do I have to start getting the fire for lifting again right before I take a week off? It’s just not fair! :P

Also, when I squat (or unrack the weight, at least), I tend to hunch my upper back a little. I need to stop doing that. Lower back’s fine, magnificent arch, but the upper needs some work. I need to stop shifting my weight toward my toes/balls of the feet, too. That’ll get me injured! Again.

Incline bench:
185 lbs. 1 x 3
225 lbs. 1 x 1
245 lbs. 1 x 1

Tate presses:
40 lb. dumbbells 5 x 10

Rear delt machine:
100 lbs. 1 x 10
110 lbs. 1 x 8
110 lbs. 1 x 7

Reverse-grip lat pulldowns:
150 lbs. 1 x 10
170 lbs. 1 x 8
190 lbs. 1 x 6

Comments: One of the better workouts as of late. I’m… energized (which kind of sucks, since I need to go to bed sometime in the next few hours), fired up, full of pep, etc. Yet I’m also looking forward to taking next week off. :P

More rain, finally! Maybe we’re up to -13.5 inches now! :D Pardon the accent.

And the backyard! Again, pardon the mumbling and accent.

GODDAMN IT, YOUTUBE, GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. Okay, I’m good.

Bench:
185 lbs. 8 x 3

Tricep pressdowns:
150 lbs. 1 x 13
180 lbs. 1 x 10
200 lbs. 2 x 8

Rear delt machine:
100 lbs. 3 x 8

Reverse-grip pulldowns:
150 lbs. 1 x 10
170 lbs. 2 x 8

Comments: FUUUCK. On top of simply being almost burned-out, benching only 185 (I could probably get more, but even those were giving me problems, which they really shouldn’t) is rather disheartening, and I think my left shoulder and elbow (maybe entire arm? :P ) are yearning for a week off. So, after this coming week (Monday through Sunday), I’ll do just that, which will place the heavy doses of stimulants at a beginning of July 2nd, which would be splendid timing.

“Box” squats:
185 lbs. 4 x 2
225 lbs. 4 x 2

Reverse hyperextensions:
2 x 10
1 x 13 (Once again, Iced Earth gave me a burst of endurance)

Barbell shrugs:
225 lbs. 1 x 10
315 lbs. 2 x 6

Comments: I made the mistake of doing a fuckload of walking before heading to the gym, and that sapped a good deal of my energy. I’m built for power, not endurance! Bleh. I’ll make up for it next week.

I’m planning on making a small road trip down to Savannah sometime in September, so I might start the ECA (and a semi-liquid diet as per Operation Adonis, though probably not as strict) in July and the “green tea” (by “green tea” I mean a certain thermogenic that I shan’t name here) the last half of August in order to look my best. 8)
